#Okay so the thing I really like about this scene is that Athena makes Helo kill her #Because suicide is anathema to cylons #And I love what that little detail showcases about Athena #After all this is the woman who is practically obsessed with wanting to be human #with wanting to forget where she comes from and make sure everyone else forgets too #But she still can’t quite bring herself to suicide (even the temporary kind) #She still can’t quite give up that last bit of her cylon heritage #Sometimes (okay a lot of the time) I wonder if Athena still believes in the cylon God #I don’t think she’d readily or willingly admit it #but this scene makes me think that deep down the answer would be yes
